A brief document by Phil (initialed PhL, dated 2.1.08) listing three web links on NMR: a chapter of an online book on the basics of NMR, a page on kinds of 2D NMR, and a tutorial with COSY and INADEQUATE-type sample spectra. A closing comments section explains why he keeps bookmarks in a subject file rather than in Firefox, and how to turn pasted text into hyperlinks in Word.

Bookmarks for NMR PhL 2.1.08 See comments at the end. http://www.cis.rit.edu/htbooks/nmr/chap-10/chap-10.htm Chapter 10 of somebody's book "the basics of NMR". http://chem.ch.huji.ac.il/nmr/techniques/2d/2d.html About kinds of 2D NMR. http://www.sciencesoft.net/NMRanalyst_Manual/HTML/tutorial_IV.html Lots of stuff on COSY and INAD, lots of sample spectra. Comments: When I store bookmarks in Firefox, the action is clumsy. I have to navigate a parallel universe hierarchy, and I already have the main hierarchy open. Even if I make a special top level folder for my current activity, it is clumsy putting the bookmark there. And of course it is in a separate world. So the idea here is to have a file for the subject I am doing and put bookmarks there. I will just try this and see how it works. Of course here it is easy to comment on that bookmark at length in the same place. Select entire link, then right-click and say hyperlink to convert from text to link. This just turns it into the obvious field object.
